1. Date:

December 15th to 17th, 2022

2. Program:

The program can be found on the Indico page;
https://agenda.hepl.phys.nagoya-u.ac.jp/indico/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2104

The school will start at 10:30 on Thursday, December 15th, and end at 15:10 on Saturday, December 17th. The poster session will be held in the evening on Thursday, December 15th, from 17:15 to 19:00. Banquet/party will not be held due to pandemic concerns.

We had assumed that if the lecturer (Prof. G. Cowan) needed to have lectures online, the school would start at 17:00 on Wednesday, December 14th, and end on Saturday, December 17th. But now we will have our school following the original schedule mentioned above.

Coffee and sweets will be provided at coffee breaks, and drinks and snacks will be also provided during the poster session.

Group photos will be taken before lunch on December 16th. Please show your faces even if you join the KMI school online.

3. Zoom Connection:

The lectures, tutorials, and seminars will be broadcasted to online participants via zoom. The zoom link is announced to participants directly. But, if you cannot find it, please take contact with us.

4. Information for Tutorial:

The participants are expected to bring a laptop on which Python (version 3) is installed. Please check the version of Python you installed. For tutorials, some libraries such as numpy, scipy, jupyter, and matplotlib will be needed as well as some dedicated libraries for statistics such as iminuit. imimuit can be installed using pip;

pip install iminuit

You can also use google colaboratory for the tutorials (Note that google account is required). For google colaboratory, python3 and some libraries are already pre-installed.
https://colab.research.google.com

We strongly recommend participants learn basic python knowledge (and also numpy/matplotlib) before coming to the school as we don’t have enough time.
An introduction with google colaboratory is available in the following link:
