松尾清一名古屋大学総長と小林誠KMI所長の挨拶により開始した3日間のシンポジウムは「Quest for the Origin of Particles and the Universe」と題し、日本を含む12カ国からの113名の参加者による議論の場となりました。

続く3日間は大学院生を対象にしたKMIスクール「Particle-Antiparticle Asymmetry in the Universe」にて、分野を牽引する研究者による講義シリーズの他、優れたポスター発表者の表彰や修了証の授与も行いました。10カ国94名の参加者でした。
