ForwArd Search ExpeRiment at the LHC (FASER), an international collaboration involving KMI’s Toshiyuki Nakano, Mitsuhiro Nakamura, Hiroki Rokujo, and Osamu Sato has successfully observed neutrino reaction candidates from the LHC, the world’s highest energy collider. This result shows that the FASER experiment is indeed useful in the study of TeV-scale neutrinos.
