Prof. Chiho Nonaka, KMI, was selected to commend as a “particularly outstanding female researcher (who not only excels in research achievements and competence but is also expected to play an active role as a university director or manager in the near future)” by the Gender Equality Promotion Expert Committee of Nagoya University.

The Commendation of top leaders among female researchers was one of programs of the MEXT’s Diversity Program – support for Female Researchers at Nagoya University. The commendation ceremony will be held later.

Professor Chiho Nonaka was selected as a top leader among female researchers in Nagoya University. The award ceremony was held on October 1st, 2019. 

I am very honored to be selected as a top leader among female researchers in Nagoya University. I am encouraged a lot. 

I am pushing forward with my research and education. Also, I am happy to contribute something for management of Nagoya University.
