Past classifications of active galactic nuclei based on their morphologies are sometimes limited by sensitivities of the array used in the interferometric imaging. The high sensitivity of the MeerKAT telescope has led to the discovery of various unconventional morphologies in AGNs recovered from low surface brightness emissions associated with the AGNs. Complex bent tail systems of various shapes have been unveiled by the MeerKAT.
In this talk, I present some of the new results and physics behind the new morphologies that are observed.
