Starting from my own work about the universality of CFT in the  sector of the large global
charge, I will talk about my recent attempts  in finding universality in otherwise exponentially
complex problems.  Concretely (and very modestly compared to the first attractive 
sentence!), I will report my (only slightly) new understanding of  non-Hermitian statistical
models with asymmetric coupling. Meanwhile I hope to talk about my life in the informatics
department so far.
