About the Nagoya International Center (NIC）

The Nagoya International Center was established by the City of Nagoya in 1984 as a public facility for the promotion of internationalization
within the community. Working towards this objective, NIC is engaged in the following activities.

  • Provision of information and consultations for the promotion of internationalization within the community
  • Provision of educational sessions and training courses for the promotion of internationalization within the community
  • Promotion of the activities of groups and individuals engaged in the promotion of internationalization within the community
  • Provision of Nagoya International Center facilities for public use
  • Other programs deemed necessary for the promotion of internationalization within the community by the Mayor
