KMI Mini-Workshop on
"Conformality in Strong Coupling Gauge Theories at LHC and Lattice"
(SCGT12Mini)

March 18 (Sunday) - March 20 (Tuesday), 2012

Science Symposia (ES 635), 6th Floor of ES Building
Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute for the Origin of Particles and the Universe (KMI)
Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan

First Circular

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss urgent theoretical and phenomenological issues of approximate conformal symmetry of strong coupling gauge theories and composite models for the electroweak physics particularly in the context of ongoing LHC experiments. Combined discussions of lattice, string studies and the phenomenological ones will be extremely important in this phase of the particle physics.

The workshop is the 7th of the Nagoya SCGT workshop series after SCGT 88, SCGT 90, SCGT 96, SCGT 02, SCGT 06, and SCGT09 and is similar in spirit to the previous ones. See for details of some of them:
SCGT 09 (http://www.eken.phys.nagoya-u.ac.jp/scgt09/)
SCGT 06 (http://www.eken.phys.nagoya-u.ac.jp/scgt06/)
