Abstract:

The axion is a Nambu-Goldstone boson which appears in Peccei-Quinn mechanism for solving the strong CP problem in QCD and it is a promising candidate for dark matter in the Universe.  However, the axion has two serious cosmological problems, domain wall and isocurvature perturbation problems.  In this talk I will explain these problems and their solutions.
