Abstract:

Much of recent research is aimed towards understanding the parity-odd response of chiral media and its deep relationship to topology and quantum anomalies with applications ranging from heavy-ion collisions to Dirac and Weyl semimetals. I shall describe the progress in developing non-equilibrium kinetic description of such phenomena.
