KMI Science Symposia (ES635)
Abstract:

In these lectures I will given an introduction to recent developments in the exact computation of partition functions of superconformal field theories in three dimensions. First I will discuss the method of supersymmetric localization which makes possible to reduce these partition functions to matrix models. Then, I will discuss methods for solving these models at large N to make contact with different predictions of the AdS/CFT correspondence.
