Takahiko MATSUBARA, an Associate Professor at Center of Theoretical Studies, was awarded 17th (FY2012) Hayashi Chushiro Prize by the Astronomical Society of Japan

Takahiko MATSUBARA, an Associate Professor at Center for Theoretical Studies, was awarded 17th (FY2012) Hayashi Chushiro Prize by the Astronomical Society of Japan for his contribution to "observational cosmology based on a statistical perturbation theory."

Hayashi Chushiro Prize is founded in 1995 to commemorate the 11th Kyoto Prize, which was awarded to Prof. Chushiro Hayashi. Hayashi Chushiro Prize is awarded to a person or a group who's contribution to research fields in astronomy is original and enormous.
