This presents a problem for models with a\nMinimal Flavour Violation structure, where such bounds constrain how\nlight the third generation squark masses can be, and put at risk the\nsolution of the Higgs hierarchy problem. As a way out, we present a\nnew framework based on a U(2)<sup class=\"moz-txt-sup\" style=\"font-size: 10px\"><span style=\"width: 0px;height: 0px;overflow: hidden\"><\/span>5<\/sup> flavour symmetry, which allows the\nthird generation sfermion masses to be light regardless of the\nconstraints on the first two generations. We show how this framework\ncan solve flavour tensions in the quark sector.
