Backed up with ever-evolving <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">computing processors, AI\/ML-enabled new ways to analyze data with improved quality as <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">well as a new generation of techniques for the automation of workflows. In this talk, I will <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">discuss my research using AI\/ML to transform the short and long-baseline neutrino <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">oscillation experiments in the U.S. with AI\/ML techniques, including the Short Baseline <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">Neutrino (SBN) program and Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). <\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">These <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">experiments deploy Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC) detectors that can <\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">capture a hi<\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">&#8211;<\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">resolution image of charged particles coming out of a neutrino<\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\"> <\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">interaction. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">While the detector technology shows strong promise, a quality data analysis technique is <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">yet to be mastered. Traditional workflows to develop data reconstruction methods, detector <\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">calibrations, and physics analysis techniques require manual<\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\"> <\/span><span role=\"presentation\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">processes with lots of human <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;letter-spacing: 0.8px\">interventions.
