In a<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">recent paper by Saad, Shenker and Stanford, it was shown that JT<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">gravity is holographically dual to a certain double-scaled matrix<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">model. This is an example of the holography involving the ensemble<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">average, where the Hamiltonian of the boundary theory becomes the<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">random matrix. This in particular implies that the correlator of two<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">partition functions includes the contribution of spacetime wormhole<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">connecting the two asymptotic boundaries.
