It aims to record 50 ab-1 of data<\/span><br \/>\n<span>over the course of the project, which will allow for measuring<\/span><br \/>\n<span>Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix in unprecedented<\/span><br \/>\n<span>precision. Belle II also have the capability to perform direct search<\/span><br \/>\n<span>for new physics beyond the Standard Model such as light dark matter<\/span><br \/>\n<span>and dark-sector mediators. Belle II started its physics data-taking in<\/span><br \/>\n<span>2018, and as of today, about 200 fb-1 of data were collected. In 2020,<\/span><br \/>\n<span>SuperKEKB has broken the world record in the peak luminosity<\/span><br \/>\n<span>previously made by KEKB. Since then, it keeps beating its record.
