General agreement for academic cooperation between KMI and Jožef Stefan Institute – Boost globalization of KMI –

KMI concluded general agreement for academic cooperation with Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS), Republic of Slovenia. The signing ceremony was held at KMI on November 7, 2014, with the ambassador Heleno Drnovšek Zorko, sitting in company. Professor Peter Križan, leader of the experimental particle physics division of IJS and Professor Toshihide Maskawa, director general of KMI, signed the agreement. Prof. Križan promotes the “World Resarch Unit for Heavy Flavor Particle Physics”, newly launched at Nagoya University, together with Prof. Toru Iijima, director of the Division of Experimental Studies. We expect active cooperation between KMI and IJS.
