Recent measurements of the electroweak penguin decays B meson decays exhibit tensions with respect to the Standard Model predictions. One of these channels is the B → K^∗ μμ decay that is considered a golden channel for New Physics searches. This seminar will present in details measurements performed by CMS collaboration on angular analysis of that decay channel using the data collected at 8 TeV, using 20.5 fb^-1 of data, together with the decay channel B⁺ → K⁺ μμ. Finally, the perspective on updated measurements using run 2 large dataset will be discussed.
