Title: Project of the Charm-Tau factory in Novosibirsk
Lecturer: B.Shwartz, (Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics and Novosibirsk State University)

Abstract:
The project of the Super C-Tau factory (SCTF) is under development now at BINP in Novosibirsk. This electron-positron collider is intended for experiments in the energy range from 2 to 6 GeV with a luminosity of 1035 cm-2s-1. High luminosity will provide a wide physical program that includes many fundamental issues like a study of mixing in the D meson system, search for CP-violating effects in decays of charmed particles, and search for “new physics” in rare and Standard Model-forbidden decays of charmed particles and tau lepton. Other important fields including tau lepton studies and two photon physics are also presented in the research plans.
